Zhejiang Yuanjiang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 2021, by Wu Fang Zhai Group，the first brand of zongzi, together with Jiangnan University Chen Jian team of academicians and other jointly organized. The company is located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, with a registered capital of RMB 100 million and a total investment of RMB 460 million. The total planned land area is 90 acres, with a building area of 102,000 square meters for manufacturing and commissioning workshops. The annual design capacity of the plant is 30,000 tons.
Driven by research, the company employs academician Chen Jian, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as the chief scientist. The factory uses extrusion equipment of Bühler Group to build the world class factory which can produce dry and wet plant-based protein products by extrusion production.
